Cuplock System

Cuplok System is a tested multi-use scaffolding system that is used in the building and construction industries, shipbuilding, offshore construction and industrial maintenance to provide access and support structure in varied forms.

Speed of Erection:

  • Cuplok helps reduce on-site costs by providing major savings in erection and dismantling. Its modular construction is ideal for its effective storage in as less space as possible.

Simplicity:

  • Cuplok unique node point connection allows up to four horizontal members to be connected to a vertical member in one single action without the use of nuts and bolts or wedges. The locking device is formed by two cups, one fixed at pre-located intervals on the vertical component and a sliding upper cup. The forged blade end of the horizontal components are located in the lower cup, the upper is moved down and rotated to secure the components in place with a hammer blow then results in a positive and rigid connection.

Multi-Functional:

  • Cup-Lock scaffolding is a modular scaffold system that can be used both for access and structural propping purposes.

Ease of Us:

  • The principal feature of the Cup-Lock modular scaffold system is the unique method of connecting ledgers and transoms to the standard in one single action, without the use of any loose components, such as nuts, bolts, or wedges.

Safety:

  • The Cup-Lock system has been designed with safety built in, because no loose fittings are required. Lower cups prevent accidental dislodging of the ledgers, and guardrails are automatically positioned at working platform levels.

Scaffold Tube, Fittings

Al Sadd offers an extensive range of tube, fittings, boards and accessories for all access application. Tube is available in Galvanized or black steel. Drop forged fittings are widely used and both British Standard and Machine Stress Graded scaffold boards are available.

Scaffold Boards

38mm x 225mm, graded to a 1.2m maximum support centre (670kg per m²). Selected European white-wood. BS 2482:2009 All scaffold boards are banded at each end.

Castor Wheels

8' Scaffolding Caster Set:

  • The scaffold caster wheel is an 8" cast-iron wheel with a rubber overlay that is 2 inches wide and ½ inch thick. Ball bearings assist the pivot mechanism to handle high loading. The caster has double grease fittings for ease of maintenance. Double locks prevent wheel pivot and to prevent the scaffold caster wheel from rolling. Upper steel body is galvanized. The location of the hole on stem is 3.25 inches from the base.

12' System Scaffold Caster:

  • This caster features an easy to engage total locks that locks both wheel and swivel and allow easy locking and repositioning. 12 inch heavy duty polyurethane plate scaffold casters. This scaffold wheel is used for cuplock, ringlock, and kwikstage scaffolding systems. This 12 inch caster wheel enables you to easily move scaffolding exactly where you need it and locks into place for optimum stability and reliability.

Adjustable Props

Props fully conform to the requirements of British Standard and have been tested in accordance with British Standard.Props are manufactured from high quality materials with a high quality primed and painted finish for long life and high resistance to wear and tear. Props can be used on all types of building construction or for any type of use where an adjustable load-bearing member is required. The high tensile steel pin is located through a slot in the outer section and a hole on the inner section for coarse adjustments. The cast collar located below the pin gives fine adjustment for leveling or striking. The rolled thread ensures no loss of material or strength at this critical point.
